This piece is a 1.5-meter diameter stainless steel sculpture, representing a stylized half-globe. It’s made from high-quality 304 stainless steel, chosen for its excellent durability and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor display in all weather conditions. The overall shape is a clean hemisphere, with surface detailing that sets it apart from typical spherical sculptures.
The upper of the hemisphere features two decorative zones, each symbolizing different geological textures. These rings have been designed not only to enrich the visual experience but also to evoke a sense of layered discovery—like exploring different strata of the earth. The outer textures are not literal maps, but rather sculptural interpretations, created to invite curiosity about the world’s diverse landscapes.
